My day has started with a rumble...

just recvd word from a friend that yellowstone has been noisy over the last three day...

ATS has a thread running with alot of info as a fair sized group examines the events there:

Mary Lake & Mirror Lake show the tale end of yesterday's activity in the early hours of today...at the moment as of this posting it seems to be quieting down a bit.

other than all that...

Mekong Dinner-Plate-Sized Spider

I was roaming around a few days back and came across this photo of the newly discovered spider in the Mekong...

I saved it just to remind myself that the fat fuzzy spiders around here that annoy me by hanging off my kitchen ceiling at 630 a.m. in the morning when I get up to make coffee and right at that convenient height to end up in my hair before I'm really even awake.
Just to remind myself that really, things could be worse....

It could be this guy...

I was thinking on planetary harmonics last night....it was one of those encouraging responses from the higher recesses of my brain to go look on it...here was what I seen

and one more:

a purveyance dedicated to the delicate oscillations of ambient noise from the utmost reach of upper range to the deepest resonance one can imagine within my meager perceptions...

Here's to Earth who's song tunes the health of life everywhere...

Salmon of Knowledge

In Celtic mythology the fish represents the journey made to obtain and 'eat' the hazelnuts of knowledge. Each of us pursues this journey in our own way throughout our lifetime. Each journey is unique to the individual. We pour out our wonder upon the world with every rememberance, discovery, and acknowledgement we make. In this way we contribute to the building of our human reality.

My interests are not limited to only a handful of subjects...they are as rich and endowed with variation as the world around me. Some of this site will be uniquely mine, other portions will be my collection of discoveries and interests. I invite the reader in hospitality to follow my wanderings and share in its fruits.
